Total sales of AKB48 #SukiNanda in first week

The 49th single idol group AKB48 ‘#SukiNanda [# 好 き な ん だ]’ released August 30, 2017 has sold 1,082,988 copies and topped Oricon’s weekly single chart.

‘#SukiNanda’ became the 36th single of AKB48 who reached the Oricon first rank in a row since the single ‘RIVER’, which was released in October 2009 and became the 31st single of AKB48 that sold in the number one million.

With the proceeds from the single, AKB48 has sold 51,298,000 copies of music CDs and made AKB48 the first female group in history to sell music CDs over 50 copies.

And, for the female artist as a whole, AKB48 managed to occupy the first position and exceeded Hamasaki Ayumi who has total sold music CD as much as 50.675.000 copies.
