Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers have acquired defenceman Doug Scott from the Grande Prairie Storm in exchange for Ryan MacLean.Scott is a veteran of 111 BCHL games with Coquitlam and most recently the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The 19 year old North Vancouver product had 4 goals and 8 assists last season.
“Doug is a steady defender that competes extremely hard every shift,” says Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. “He’s a veteran entering his 3rd season and we believe there’s an offensive upside to his game.”
The Vipers would like to welcome Doug to Vernon and wish Ryan all the best with the Storm.
