The Vernon Vipers advanced to the Interior division semifinal vs the Penticton Vees after eliminating the Wenatchee Wild in five games Friday night. The Vees advanced to the second round Wednesday after eliminating the West Kelowna Warriors in five games.
The Vipers and Vees haven't met in the playoffs since 2017 and are meeting in the post season for the twenty fourth time in franchise history. The Vees are 13-11 in playoff series vs Vernon.
Penticton went 5-2 vs Vernon this year. The last time these two teams met, the Vees won 7-1 February 1st in Penticton.The Vees have announced the series/Game 1 will start Friday, March 13th with Game 2 going Saturday, March 14th. (The remainder of the schedule will be announced later)
